Checks and Balances to Fascism

 

The Republicans didn't trifecta our asses by following the rules. NO. They trifectaed our asses by forcing their way through doorways like a battering ram with no sense of direction. They played the loopholes and not by the rule of law. For years.

Now they have the House and the Senate, the Supreme Court, and the Executive Branch. All three branches of our government that are designed to provide checks and balances to power.
There will be no checks or balances to power.
No shame. No spines.

The whole while, Democrats feeling ethical and good and proud of ourselves for following the rules. Why do the Dems play nice in this game? There is no place for playing nice in today's politics and I suggest we buy ourselves an effing battering ram because that's exactly what we need right now. We also need somebody who knows how to fight like they do...someone who knows how to find the loopholes in the law...someone who knows how to play the game.

Right now he is president-ELECT and he is insisting that Congress go in to recess...will they? Where are the strong voices and the fricking heroes?

We are at a moment in time where the feckless-looking Republicans have successfully obtained the keys to the entire bloody kingdom. He looked like a fricking buffoon...and the entire time he was pocketing the watch. And now we'll have fascism in the Land of the Free.
