The Evangelicals and Donald Trump are claiming that this election was a clash between spiritual good and evil and are claiming his victory as a powerful mandate from their Lord. If this was the case, I'd be terribly worried that this was the best their lord could do...

Considering how many times he has uttered the word “retribution” compared to the number of of times he’s said “love”, I’d say I’d rather not believe in a god that approves of him. I could never believe in a deity that tells me that the Other deserves my anger or my derision rather than my compassion.
