About Karen

I am a Midwestern American, very open atheist, secular humanist, science lover, and I'm mum to two amazing human beings (ages 27 and 23 now).

We homeschooled for over twelve years.
Now I'm entering into my "empty nest" years...and I am now working at the absolute perfect job for me.

I enjoy reading and movies, astronomy, photography, travel, and being with the people I love. I am the grandmother of three of the most gorgeous humans on the planet.

I want to believe in the inherent goodness of people.

Sometimes that's really hard.

-Karen

The Niceties of Copyright

Hey Atheist Parents!

I'm thrilled to share my musings, rants, and goodness with you. When posting, I make every effort to give credit to others when they inspire, inform, or educate me. I humbly ask that you, Dear Reader, do the same for me.

Please feel free to copy ideas and pictures from this blog with this caveat: most of the images and almost all of the clip art is mine. Feel free to copy the pics as long as you give credit and link back to the original post. If you are using my ideas, it would be nice to have some credit and a link back to me.

My kids would prefer that no picture of them is used elsewhere without asking permission and getting consent.
